Julkisuuskuvakoulutukset alkavat

Hyvät AG:t,

Vielä infoa piirin 1410 julkisuuskuvakoulutuksista. Nyt meillä on myös koulutuspaikat varmistuneet.

Pori  16.9.2015 klo 17–20 Porin Suomalainen Klubi, Eteläranta 10, Pori

Forssa  30.9.2015 klo 17–20 Hamk, Pieni audiotorio, Wahreninkatu 11, Forssa, C-ovi, 3.krs

Turku  8.10.2015 klo 17–20 DataCityn auditorio, Lemminkäisenkatu 14-18, Turku  (tulkkaus myös ruotsiksi)

Koulutuksiin osallistujille varataan kahvi + sämpylä (tai vastaava), jonka maksu laskutetaan klubeilta (hinta-arvio noin 10 euroa).

Ajatuksena koulutuksessa on piirijohtosuunnitelmassa kuvailtu tavoite julkisuuskuvalle:

Yhdenmukaistaa RI:n ja piirimme julkista kuvaa ja bränditietoisuutta  järjestämällä klubeille PR-koulutustilaisuuksia ja tarjoamalla työkaluja julkisuuskuvan hoitamiseen piirin alueella.

Koulutuksen sisältö(suunnitelma):

  1. My Rotary / Brand Center – Rotaryn visuaalinen ilme ja valmiit materiaalit My Rotary sivustolla
  2. Viestintä (malleja, työkaluja ja hyviä käytäntöjä)
  3. Klubin www-sivut ja Facebook
  4. Rotary-lehti (klubin tai alueen)

LAITTAKAA HETI TIETOA KOULUTUKSISTA OMAN ALUEENNE PRESIDENTEILLE, SIHTEEREILLE JA JULKISUUSKUVAKOMITEOIDEN PUHEENJOHTAJILLE.

Ottakaa asia esille myös  vieraillessanne klubeissa.

En halua rajata osallistujien määrää, mutta olisi hyvä, että paikalle tulisi edes presidentti ja julkisuusasioista vastaava.

How to log in and write a blog

For members -page there are added instructions, how to manage in different cases. This blog is about logging in the district website and adding a blog.

Before you can add a blog, you need to ask yourself username and password for logging. Send an email to help@rotaty1410.fi or use the contact form on site.

Before adding a blog, please read the instructions from the For members -page. After receiving your username and password, log in. In the pdf-instruction you’ll see what the site looks like when you are logged in.

GENERAL

A blog is the place where we inform others. With blogs you can describe projects, sell products, call for meetings, congratulate, tell about visitors or interesting visiting places. Quite simply about matters, that interest others. These matters can be small or national/international significant.

Important part of a blog is a category (one or more). With this we can later search for certain blogs. For example checking AG (blog written by AG) one can later on search for blogs by AG and other blogs are hidden from the listing. This categorizing is quite important the more we get blogs. Searching becomes quite hard, if you do not add the category straight from the start.

Next follows quick instructions for writing a blog. The easiest way could be writing the blog text first on notepad, then copy it to blog writing window. Also if you make language version, it would be easier to write them all and then just copy later. Please do no use Word or other similar, since this programs add so many different invisible characters that could actually mess WordPress up.

1. Log in and choose your language from top.
2. Click Articles, add new
3. Make a title for your blog
– Please keep it short
– Make it stand out (for example yearly meeting blog could be “2014 Autumn meeting” or “PETS Turku 2014”)
– The title describes the blog
4. Edit, add pictures, add hyperlinks
– Remember not to use ENTER only in the end of paragraph. This way the page will scale better.
– Add websafe pictures (resolution 72 px) to make blog alive (and helps reader to understand better and makes blog more interesting)
– Add hyperlinks for example to google maps, performing artist or visiting place’s website by copying the URL-address and adding with with the “add link” button
– You can also add for example pdf-files (please prefer pdf files, although word and excel etc. work also)
5. Add category and tag-words
– Choose 1-3 pcs categories that best describe your blog. These help later on finding your blog. If you cannot find correct category, please contact web-support to add new ones.
– Tags are helping words for search. You can add as many as you like (for example in monthly letter DG could add tags like autumn meeting, dollar exchange rate etc. – what ever that blog is about. Please do not use same words as you chose from category listing.
6. Publish and do some marketing
– When you are finished with editing, press PUBLISH button and the page is published
– You can time you blog publishing for different time. Above the PUBLISH-button there is Edit publishing. Choose the timing when you want you blog to be published.
– For example you can make 2-4 blogs about charity concert and publish these in different times according the event.
– You can also make a blog, and save it as draft. It won’t be public but you can later on edit it (all posts) and publish when you want.
